Sonae was born from a belief that Thailand holds one of the world's richest concentrations of living craft tradition. Mango wood, turned and carved. Rattan and seagrass, woven. Bamboo grown on our weavers' own seven acres. These materials were waiting for the right hands.

Our makers have spent decades, sometimes generations, mastering a single material. Each collection is made by its own collective of makers, with its own process — but all are held together by the same belief: that what is made by hand, from real materials, is worth owning.
